A Little SEO Knowledge.
We’ve all heard the expression: “a little knowledge is a dangerous thing”
Well, this is very true especially where SEO is concerned.
There’s so much free information out there on the Internet about SEO that sometimes a client will think he knows best how to do your job.
The trouble is most of the free information available is either out of date or absolute rubbish.
Think about it for a second, if people are prepared to pay you to achieve top positions on Google you are hardly going to give that information away for free.
Even SEO Company websites mislead people by saying they provide services that are completely unnecessary, submitting to the search engines every month is a typical one.
So it’s hardly surprising that people who research SEO on the Internet have so much misinformation.
It’s strange when you think about it, there’s not many professions where your clients try and help by telling you your job.
Imagine giving a Chartered Surveyor advice on a property matter because you saw a program on the TV that said this and that, and now you know more than a property professional that does it for a living.
Don’t believe everything you read about SEO on the Internet.
It’s a funny old game…
